CM: School District Annual Report
A report covering the activities of the school system is prepared annually by the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, in accordance with the provisions of the School Act. The report will be made widely available to the public as one means of informing district citizens, the Ministry of Education, and other school districts of the progress and conditions of the district's schools.
Note: The Superintendent of Schools also prepares an annual report, named The Annual Report to the Board of School Trustees, that deals, in part, with the Superintendent carrying out the specific goals set for his/her own work within the district for the year and, in part, with an overview of district-wide programs and activities in relation to Board goals formulated for the year. The Superintendent's annual report is presented in October of each year and forms the basis for Trustee/Superintendent workshop(s) to review the overall direction of the school system and the Superintendent's performance (see code AFB Evaluation of the Superintendent).
