GCG: Professional Staff Probation and Tenure
If the Board of School Trustees (the “Board”) decides to cancel a probationary contract, notice must be given after due consideration. A teacher who has received notice that his/her probationary contract Is cancelled has the right to discuss the cancellation with administrators or the Board but shall not have the right to appeal or review as provided for continuing contract teachers.
Contracts for all professional personnel will automatically continue until terminated as provided in the School Act.
