Established in 1886, the Vancouver School Board is one of the largest employers in Vancouver, with over 6000 employees. The VSB is also one of the largest school districts in British Columbia.
The VSB offers many opportunities for prospective employees. Each year, the district hires employees in the following areas; Teaching Staff, School and Student Support, Administrative Support, Playground Supervisors, Information Technology, Cafeteria Staff, Building Maintenance, Heating, Cleaning and Building Security, as well as Gardening and Grounds Maintenance.
