PLANNING & FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT POLICIES

PLANNING AWARDS
Planning & Facilities won the 2009 Pinnacle Award from Council of Education Facilities Planners International (CEFPI) for its architectural design and educational facility planning for the newly constructed Charles Dickens Elementary school. The 1997 seismic upgrade project at Shaughnessy Elementary won a Vancouver Heritage Award of Merit for exterior rehabilitation and interior renovation of the School.
The 2001/2008 seismic upgrade project at Norquay Elementary was nominated for the City of Vancouver Heritage Awards.
The 2008 seismic upgrade project at Vancouver Technical Secondary won the Silver Medal Award from the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) Awards of Excellence.
