Students and staff at General Brock Elementary were thrilled to receive lessons in hoop dancing and aboriginal music.

Alex Wells and Nelson Leon from Native Thunder Productions started their visit with a great presentation that concluded with a hoop dance by Wells.

Primary students attended aboriginal music workshops where they participated in music, movement and visualization activities, while Wells taught intermediate students hoop dancing techniques. 

"The energy and enthusiasm in the school was fantastic," said principal Angela Hughes.
