The Lord Byng Secondary junior girls cross country team returned from the provincial championships with the winner's banner.

Four top 40 finishes in the near 200 strong field - Bridgett Baziw (8), Ella Symone (14), Skye Higgins (21) and Taylor Williams (32) - propelled Lord Byng finish well ahead of Salmon Arm and Walnut Grove in the team competition. Renata Lawrence (137) and Elise Dekerckhove (157) also competed for Lord Byng in the championships held in Peachland.

Sir Charles Tupper Secondary took fifth place in the junior boys and tenth in the senior boys. Killarney Secondary finished 16th in the senior boys and 17th in the senior girls. Britannia Secondary's senior boys team came 26th in their event.
