DLG Weekly Update: December 8 – 12

Hello Families,

We hope you had a wonderful weekend! Walking around the neighbourhood, it feels like December brings out a little extra kindness—more nods, smiles, and cheerful greetings. We hope you’re enjoying this special time of year as well.

❄️ What To Do If the Weather Turns Snowy

The Vancouver School Board has procedures in place for severe weather events such as heavy snowfall or high winds. Schools will remain open whenever possible. If a District-wide closure is necessary, it will be announced by 6:30 a.m. Updates will be shared through local media, the VSB website, school websites, and official social media channels.

🧹 Grounds Clean-Up

This week’s clean-up duty belongs to Division 5. Thank you for helping keep our school grounds tidy!

🐠 Field Trip

Divisions 12, 13, and 15 are heading to the Vancouver Aquarium this Friday. Wishing everyone a safe and exciting adventure!
