Dear Oppenheimer Families,  

Welcome Back! We hope you have had a wonderful summer break and are feeling ready for a new school year at Oppenheimer Elementary.  We are getting ready and are very excited to see all of you back in the upcoming days. The teachers are looking forward to hearing about your summer adventures. 

A reminder that on Tuesday September 5^th, students will attend for one hour from 9 am - 10am. Students will be returning to last year’s classes for the first week to reconnect and share.  We plan to move students to permanent classes on Monday September 11^th once we receive district approval. Drop-off and pick-up areas will remain the same as last year for the first week.  

New students will be welcomed at the office and then directed to our music room for an orientation before assigning them to classrooms for the week. Our first full day of school for students in grades 1-7 will be on Wednesday, September 6th.  School will finish at 3:03 PM on this day. For our Kindergarten families please follow the gradual entry schedule that has been emailed to you or refer to the school website.
