Welcome back Kitsilano students and families to the start of the 2026-27 school year.  Read the Back to School 2026 Newsletter  for more information about the start of school.

We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, September 8. Students will first gather in the Theatre for a short assembly and then to their homeroom to receive important information and materials for the start of school. Students can view their schedule and find their homeroom on MyEducation BC.  Homeroom lists will also be posted in the Atrium.  Note, grade 8 students and students new to the school were emailed information on how to log in to their account. 

Grade 8 Orientation and Parent Welcome

Link Crew leaders will assist grade 8 students on the first day of school to support their transition to Kitsilano. Students should wear running shoes and dress comfortably and in clothing appropriate for an afternoon of activities. During the school year, Link Crew leaders will work with grade 8 students by connecting and checking in.

The Kitsilano PAC will be hosting a Welcome Coffee Break from 1:00 – 2:00 PM for grade 8 parents/guardians. While students are at their orientation and homeroom session, parents/guardians are invited to stay for coffee, meet other Kitsilano parents and learn more about the Kitsilano PAC. The Welcome Coffee Break will take place outside off of the Trafalgar Street school entrance.
