Queen Mary Leadership team consists of Grade 6 and 7 students.  Students assist the school and community in a variety of ways.  Students assist in the office with PA morning announcements, recess and lunch hour office help as well as various odd jobs.  Leadership team assists in the library with shelving books and any other jobs our librarian needs.  We have Leaders acting as primary student helpers which involves assisting primary teachers one afternoon a week for 20 minutes in various ways.  We have students monitoring our Buddy Bench 3 days a week where they are available for support for other students at recess and lunch breaks. 

Our leadership team is also heavily involved in the community and participates with Free the Children in  raising awareness and funds locally, nationally and globally.   They use our monthly ice cream sales to support different areas such as the Food Bank. Terry Fox Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Free the Children and other chosen charities throughout the year.
