Daily Physical Activity (DPA)
Daily Physical Activity (DPA) is mandated by the Ministry of Education for all B.C. students. Students in Grades 8 and 9 must complete 30 minutes per day or 150 minutes per week of moderate to intense physical activity. Grades 10, 11 and 12 must complete at least 150 minutes per week of moderate to intense physical activity.
Students and parents are responsible for selfreporting this information.

The activities that will help you meet the DPA requirements include: Courses like PE, Fitness, Weight Training, School Sports Programs and Extracurricular Activities (School Teams, Intramurals, School Outings, Terry Fox Run, etc…). Community Organized Programs (Community Sports Teams, Bike Clubs, etc…), and Personal Interest Activities (At home or in the community including Swimming Lessons, Gym Memberships, Fitness Groups, etc…).
