Introduction
Economics 12 is a course designed to prepare you for any first-year university or college Economics course and will touch on theories and principles at that level. It will focus on economics at the personal, social, national, and global levels that affect everyone and everything from the price of gas and housing to national debt and spending. This course will discuss investing trading strategies and theories that we will put into practice.
Where does this course fit?
This academic course is recommended for grade 11 and 12 students interested in educating themselves about the world of business they live and participate within. Throughout this course you will study these concepts and then apply them by:
- Understanding and using terms
- Application of theories in various assignments
- Successfully completing quizzes
- Demonstrating understanding via a written Mid-Term Exam
- Demonstrating understanding via a written Final Exam
Course Materials
- This is an online course. You will need access to a device with an internet connection. You will also need to write an in-person exam with your ID at VLN.
- There will be individual assignment and quizzes. You are responsible for keeping yourself on track to complete the course within the allotted time frame.
