Personal Education Number (PEN) is a unique 9-digit number assigned to students entered at the education system in BC.  

Fastest Ways to Retrieve PEN:

• Refer to student documents such as K-12 report cards and secondary school transcripts.
• Log in MyEducation BC Family Portal to check.
• Request PEN on VSB Student PEN Request site.

Current students and parents/guardians of current students could also contact the school office to retrieve PEN.  PEN will be provided only upon verification of identities.
