MyEducation BC
The MyEducation BC (MyEd BC) is a portal widely used in BC school districts. It provides a secured platform for parents/guardians and students to access students’ educational information such as their PEN, course schedule, daily attendance and published report cards. Students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) share the account information including the login ID, password and primary email (for receiving temporary password after password reset) with each other to access this family portal.
New Students:
First-time users will receive instructions on how to access their account when school starts.
Returning Students:
Accounts for existing users are reactivated at the end of August. Returning students are able to logon to MyEd BC using their previous password. Please note that passwords expire every 90 days. Upon expiry, users are prompted to set a new password.
Account Management:
Please follow the instructions below for:
- Logging in MyEd BC for the first time (in Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / Vietnamese)
- Resetting MyEd BC password
- Changing MyEd BC password
- Changing primary email associated with MyEd BC account
- Changing security question
- Switching to desktop view on mobile devices
Useful Tips:
- Log in MyEd BC for the first time on a desktop instead of a mobile device.
- Keep a record of the new password, primary email and answer to the security question for your account.
- Check the primary email for the temporary password right after password reset.
- Get help from the office if your account is disabled after numerous attempts of password reset.
