During severe weather events, all schools in the Vancouver School District will remain open, if possible.  If a district-wide closure is essential, it will be decided and publicized by 6:30am.  Announcement on a district-wide school closure will be made through the media, the District website, the school website and social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and X.

Plan ahead and allow more time to safely travel to school when poor weather is forecasted.  If for any reason a parent/guardian feels that a child cannot travel safely to/from school, please notify us in the office about the absence.
