The overarching goal of Social Studies is to develop thoughtful, responsible, resilient, active citizens who think critically about events taking place in the world around them.  Students thrive on enrichment experiences offered to them through workshops, guest speakers, field studies, engaging class activities and school clubs that foster community involvement and contribution.  Social  Studies courses help prepare students for their future as Canadian Citizens and members of the international community.
