Athletics

Athletic Leadership has put together a 2024 Fall Newsletter for our Athletics Program highlighting our different teams, athletes, and some messages from our volunteer coaches
Gladstone Athletics - Fall Newsletter 2024 (1).pdf

The Athletics Program at Gladstone offers a wide variety of sports coached and sponsored by teachers and community coaches, built to give students the opportunity to participate, learn, compete, and have fun playing sport. Our program is focused on cooperation, teamwork, skills, commitment, and sportsmanship.

Students part of an inter-school team compete against schools in the Vancouver league and may advance to play against other schools in other districts.

Athletic Fees

Athletic Fees go towards the costs involved with each sport and include sport membership and association fees, equipment and supplies, uniforms, facilities, league competition, certification, allocated referees, and minor officials. Additional competitions such as tournament play outside of regular league competition may have additional fees depending on the specific sport, level and team, and will be charged separately.

As per VSB and VSSAA policies, financial hardship will not be a barrier to opportunities to participate; applications for financial assistance and subsidies must be coordinated with your counsellor.
