Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) began the process for all staff in each school district within the it’s region to receive COVID-19 vaccinations.

Starting today and continuing on a week-by-week basis thereafter, VCH will identify and contact staff at schools to let them know that it is their turn to book an appointment.

All District staff are eligible to be vaccinated as part of this program regardless of their role in the District. As public health experts have explained, every person who receives a vaccine helps to keep all of us safer.

Over the coming weeks, everyone in the District who has not yet received their first dose will be able to schedule an appointment.

The District is pleased that the rollout of vaccinations for staff is underway. All staff have worked diligently to support our learners and continue to keep their health and safety as their top priority.
