Community Use of VSB Sports and Play Fields
The Vancouver School Board welcomes community use of its sports and play fields outside of school hours, supporting these outdoor spaces for recreational activities while ensuring they remain in good condition for students and staff during school time. Sports and play fields are available for organized sports leagues for both youth and adult participants, helping foster active lifestyles.
Types of Play Fields
- All-weather (gravel) fields
- Irrigated grass fields
- Regular grass fields
Regular grass and all-weather fields are generally open year-round, except during scheduled maintenance, so there's plenty of opportunity to stay active.
Artificial turf fields with lights at Hamber, Point Grey and Van Tech are not available for rental through the VSB. Please click here to book with the Vancouver Parks Board.
