Feeding vulnerable youth, distributing technology and connecting with families continues

Over the past week, staff and administrators at the Vancouver School District have been working hard to meet the needs of students and their families.

In a video update, superintendent of schools, Suzanne Hoffman says feeding vulnerable youth has – and will continue to be – a priority. About 2,000 students a day receive lunch. Distributing technology also remains a major focus, so that all students have equitable access to the resources they need to support their learning. Teachers and support staff also continue to connect with families as learning opportunities continue to evolve. Hoffman also explains that work on what the end of the year will look like is also underway, as everyone throughout the District takes a calm and thoughtful approach to what is ahead.
