2024-2025 Financial Planning Process 

The Financial Plan Development Engagement Summary Report summarizes feedback provided by rights holders through the Indigenous Education Council (IEC), the District’s formal stakeholder groups, and members of the public gathered during the financial plan engagement period, which ended on April 22, 2024.

It was presented at the April 8, 2024 Special Board meeting to support the Board with its consideration of the 2024-2025 Financial Plan, and an updated report was presented at the April 24, 2024 Special Board meeting.

The budget@vsb.bc.ca email address is closed and no longer accepting written submissions regarding budget priorities for development of the 2024-2025 financial plan. All written submissions to the Board are considered public documents. The Board, therefore, reserves the right to make any submissions available to the public. 

The 2024-2025 Financial Planning Process was presented at the January 17, 2024 Finance and Personnel Committee meeting and was approved by the Board at the January 29, 2024 meeting. The full report can be found here.

The public engagement process included meetings with rights holders and stakeholders, a public survey and opportunities for the public and stakeholders to delegate to the Board.
