On November 25, 2012, Point Grey Grade 8 student Maggie Chang participated in a piano recital at Carnegie Hall in New York. Chang's performed as part of the American Prot�g� International Music Competition. She was one of two young Canadians (both from BC!) in an international field of 34 talented performers who were successful in garnering a

n invitation to perform at this prestigious event at Carnegie Hall.

Chang won first place in her age group of the competition and also received a Judges Distinction Award for her performances. She says she plans to continue to be an active member of the Point Grey Music Program.
