At Windermere Secondary, Lifeskills teacher Tamara Maxim is always on the lookout for creative ways to engage her students in the school community. Recently, Maxim was the recipient of a CKNW Orphans Fund donation, which she used to bring in a music therapist each week to her classroom. After a fun rehersal, her students trekked up to the second floor of Windermere for a joint rehersal with the school's senior choir. The experience was enlightening for both groups of kids.

Maxim and choir teacher Andrea Lee will be practicing for the next few months in the lead up to a joint performance at the school's upcoming seasonal conference.
