U-Hill Elementary students rocked a local Starbucks with three sets of modern and traditional carols from 8:45 am until 11:30 in morning earlier this month.  

Led by Grade 7 teacher Joe Mergens on the piano, the students belted out tunes and raised $387.54 for Covenant House, a society which provides food and shelter for vulnerable youth. 15 students participated in the choir.

The U-Hill students had been practicing since mid-November. They previously performed at a fundraiser at the Old Hastings Mill Museum in Jericho on December 1st.
