Please note that the Ministry of Education has made changes to the sections that students will be responsible for completing related to the English 10 and Social Studies 11 Exams.

English 10:

• Students will complete the Multiple Choice Question section
• Students will complete one Written Response Question to a passage that they have read
• Students will not be required to complete a longer written passage (essay)

Social Studies 11:

• Students will complete the Multiple Choice Question section only.
• Students will not be required to complete the written response questions.

Note: Student scores will be based on the reduced set of questions and the standards (cut scores) will be adjusted accordingly.

Students will have the opportunity to re-write any provincial exam for a one-year period.  In addition, for the November 2014 exam session only, the Province will offer an electronic option to students who want an opportunity to write the portions of each of these exams that are not being offered during this June session.
