Templeton Film Students Win Prestigious International Film Competition
Templeton Secondary's film making program is celebrating. After having two films (Amelia's Spyglass and Catharsis) nominated for top honours in the All American High School Film Festival, a handful of students flew to New York where they took their seats in the AMC Empire Theatre in Times Square.
After a whirlwind few days of keynote speakers, workshops and screenings, the students learned that Catharsis had won for Best Original Score, beating out over 1000 other submissions from 40 US states and seven countries.
