We understand that providing supervision during the day for children can be a challenge for many families. With this in mind, the district has created an additional list (to complement our earlier list) of organizations around Vancouver which are providing child-care and educational options for students during job action. Here are a few options to be aware of:

• Vancouver Aquarium have day camps, aqua camps organized
• Badminton Vancouver have events planned
• Canadian Parents For French, listed resources and day camps as well as exchange information
• Grouse Mountain have activities planned
• Jericho Sailing Centre is offering an extended summer camp
• UBC is offering extended summer camps and fall camps
• Science World is running extended summer science camps
• Vancouver Park Board Community Centres are offering programming and camps. Prices vary.
• Arts Umbrella  is now offering programming and childcare options
• YMCA Greater Vancouver is offering a variety of fall camps
• Boys and Girls Clubs are offering a number of day camp options
• Neighbourhood Houses and Family Resource Centres are offering various child-care services. These vary by neighbourhood.
