To celebrate Vaisakhi today, students in the Sikh Club at David Thompson Secondary hosted a celebration at school to bring their community together. Club members handed out drinks, snacks and 1000 samosas! 

The hallways were filled with music and hundreds of students excited to celebrate Vaisakhi. There were even few special guests in attendance including, Minister of International Development, Harjit Sajjan and Vancouver School Board Vice-Chair, Preeti Faridkot.
